Q1- Tells us about yourself?
I am, Veerandra Kumar KG from Shivamogga, Completed my graduation in BE from PESITM Shivamogga, Graduated in 2012.
Q2- Why did you enter in this field of competitive exams?
I was interested to work in Government sector or in any of the Public sector undertakings. Worked as Engineer in Top MNC for 01 year and moved towards banking sector. Happiness comes when our work reaches our citizens directly; the only way our professional work reaches our people is through government sectors.
Q3- What is the strategy of your preparation?
I followed the guidance given by Jnanagangothri
First strategy is to know the exam pattern (Topics, Time Frame, Cut Off Marks), if we are well aware of these parameters then we can easily crack any exam.
Prepared topicwise, practiced everyday and kept updating current affairs. I prepared with the help of monthly banking magazines. Main strategy is to be perfect in any of the 02 sections and score maximum marks in those sections and try to score / secure minimum qualifying marks in other sections where do you think that you are weak.
I tried scoring maximum marks in the written exam itself, so that minimum marks in interview would get me through exam and getting shortlisted finally.
Q4- What is your opinion on taking mock exams?
Daily tests at Jnanagangothri and explanation after tests guided me in a perfect way.
Mock exams helps you in accuracy , time management, if you repeatedly practise mock tests on daily basis , no exam will be tough if you are well aware of the subjects.

I prepared questions related to my bio data and went through some books and magazines related to banks.

I tried preparing my own didn’t take any coaching before. Lack of knowledge in some topics, not attending mock tests, regular practise

I took coaching from Jnanagangothri. I practised mock tests on daily basis, referred monthly banking magazines.
Q 13- Many hardworking candidates have failed in mains/interview; they are feeling hopeless and depressed what is your message to them?
Hardwork never fails. I would like to inform each and every aspirant to work hard and keep trying till you achieve your goals, All the bank aspirants should focus on all the topics which are more scoring in the exam and prepare these topics thoroughly which they feel bit difficult. Since there is no much time to be wasted upon some sections or on some questions, make strategy as to which section to attempt and how many questions to solve in each sections to score qualifying marks.
