KAS MENTORSHIP PLAN AT JNANAGANGOTHRI

How this program can benefit students:

Each student has unique abilities and constraints when it comes to studying. Therefore, implementing a uniform study plan for all students to cover the syllabus may not be effective. A proficient mentor understands this and engages with students to create a personalized plan based on their individual needs.

With a wide array of resources and study materials available for KAS exam preparation, it can be overwhelming for students to select the right materials and strategies to cover them efficiently. A mentor can assist in selecting the most suitable resources and implementing effective strategies.

Since syllabuses and topics are subject to dynamicity, a personal mentor’s guidance can assist students in identifying the most relevant sources and gaining accurate information about subjects and topics.

Our program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of KPSC, enabling them to achieve higher scores compared to their peers.

Some topics hold more weightage from an examination perspective than others. A mentor can provide students with insights on the weightage of each topic.

SALIENT FEATURES OF THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME:

• In the first week, the students will be asked the basic details and some questions to assess their understanding and their approach regarding KAS exam.
• In the second week, the students will be given a weekly plan which they have to execute and accordingly 10 MCQ’s and 2 Mains Answers will be given as assignments. 
• Every week there will be doubt clearing session with the mentor and the students can approach the mentor for additional feedback.
• After a month, the mentor will hold a discussion with the student and chart out a strategy according to his perception of the exam 
• The weekly targets have to be completed and accordingly the instructions should be adhered to by the student.
• Every month there would be test on cumulative subjects covered.
• The student has to enroll themselves in the test series of the institution and keep following that plan rigorously for better results.
• Suggestions including what books to be referred to and what not to be read and what sources should one follow will also be discussed by the mentor.
• Jnanagangothri’s materials and current affairs can be followed up for keeping in touch with the current affairs syllabus.
• Additional support regarding mains and interview will be followed up after the KAS prelims examination.
• Mentor would help students tackle areas such as Time Management, Stress Management and Answer Writing.

PBC- Practice Beyond Class Program

What we do in class just suffices knowledgerequired to write an examination. Classroom is confined to the efforts of the teacher. If one wishes to clear tough civil services exam like KAS what you do beyond classroom is crucial. In this regard Jnanagangothri is launching yet another unique program PBC – Practice Beyond Class program.
